NEWS-藝術中心開幕 首場由藝壇巨擘倪朝龍教授領7位藝術教師聯展
藝術中心於25日正式開幕，首展以「科技中的日常——人文的原生與溫度」為主題，由活躍藝壇的大師倪朝龍教授領軍，偕同該校7名藝術教師包括倪玉珊、謝攸青、施世昱、邱建銘、洪皓倫、蘇智偉及羅慧珍，展岀28件作品。展期自即日起至6月29日，歡迎民眾入校參觀。
勤益科大校長陳文淵說明，藝術中心皆近70坪，為複合型展演場所，提供專業音響設備及燈光設置，期望將每個展品完整呈現。陳文淵補充，勤益科大以工程資訊類科為特色，同學在學期間更應該加入人文藝術氛圍，所以將工具機大樓一樓設置藝術中心，期望每一位同學進入這個場域，都能先感受藝術薰陶。
主辦單位說明，倪朝龍教授是藝壇巨擘，作品別具特色享譽中外。一生投注於教育，擔任過小學教師、台中教育大學、亞洲大學教授暨中教大實小校長等職，推展美術教育50餘載，104年獲全國終身教育奉獻獎，肯定其卓越的貢獻。倪教授創作獲國內外大獎無數，深受藝壇肯定，國家美術館、台北美術館及國內外美術館皆獲典藏。此次展出的3件作品《合歡秋晨》、《古厝新象》及《鶴鳴九皋-形壽》，以不同面向，展現畫家人文關懷。
The Grand Opening of the Art Center: Featuring the exhibition by Artist Zhao-Long Ni and other seven art teachers
The Art Center had its grand opening on May 25th. The initial exhibition featured “The Daily Routine among Technology: the Origin and Feeling of Humanity,” led by Prof. Zhao-Long Ni and other seven art teachers including Yu-Shan Ni, You-Qing Xie, Shi-Yu Shi, Jian-Ming Qiu, Hao-Lun Hong, Zhi-Wei Su and Hui-Zhen Luo with 28 art pieces. The Art Center is a multi-functional 2500 square feet platform with fine stereo and exquisite light design, bringing every exhibition to perfection. Wen-Yuan Chen, the President of National Chinyi University of Technology, took College of Electrical Engineering and Computer as an example to emphasize the importance of combing the humanity and technology. With the expectation of making art part of school life, the Art Center in the Machinery Designing Building was born with the purpose of offering the aesthetic sense on campus.
